Rap Collaboration of the Day: Fifteen years after his death, a hologram version of Tupac capped off Coachella‘s first weekend, joining Snoop Dogg for “2 of Americaz Most Wanted” in a set that included Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Wiz Khalifa. Though Tupac “was the least dynamic of the parade of rappers young and old who held the mike,” according to the Los Angeles Times, his appearance begs the question: Who’s next?

I want to be a hologram when I die!

A Kickstarter project to create a pro-math, pro-science, pro-literature adventure novel that is for and about girls. It chronicles the detective agency of 11 year-old Ada (the world’s first computer programmer) and her friend Mary (the world’s first sci-fi author). They use their brains and their education to solve problems, just like real women do.

As the creator says, “If Jane Austen wrote about zeppelins and brass goggles, this would be the book.”

This is a project we can all get behind. Check it out, and support it!

Inspired by my two year old niece who having seen a goat herder in Spain kept chanting ‘lots and lots and lots of goats!’. The story follows a day in the life of a goat herder and his flock of goats as they travel up and down the mountains of Spain.
